There are so many products abound in the market that promises to get rid of acne and pimples. But with the numerous products available, do you know what will bring you the best way to get rid of acne and pimples?
You may opt to do the following:
Wash your face with a gentle facial scrub at least one to two times daily. Facial scrubs that have a cooling effect may be used too. Men may also use this as a shaving agent. Just wash the facial scrubs onto the face using light strokes, just like the way you apply lotion to your skin. Massage your face once a week to help your skin get rid of its dirt and impurities.
But if you have pimples, put on ice on top of the affected area for 30 to 60 seconds every two hours to reduce the redness and make the pimples less visible. Instead of ice, you may use toothpaste as an alternative.
If you are using toner, make sure you use the mild one. Products that have Zeroil is good in controlling oil while those with papaya extract or any whitening ingredient can prevent dark spots. 3% Hydrogen peroxide solution is also good for use as it does not dry the skin but is effective in killing bacteria. Doxycyline is an effective antibiotic as it lessens the number of bacteria present on the skin; thus, stopping pimples from multiplying.
It is advisable to always apply oil-free sunscreen on the kin, even it they are not exposes to sun. Sunscreen can block the UV rays from creating harm to our skin.
Always make sure your hair does not touch your face. If you have bangs, keep the bangs off your face with the use of a hair clip or headband. If you can’t avoid your hair from touching your face, just be sure that your hair is clean and does not have excess oil that will drip on your face. Also keep in mind to minimize the number of times you touch your face as you can not be assured that your hands are always clean. There may be lot of invisible bacteria residing on your hands.
And if ever you find your face greasy from excessive oil, make sure you always remove the oil with the use of a clean plain paper. When doing so, do not rub, just blot.

Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water every day. Make sure the diet you observe is healthy so try to eat less fast food and milk products and eat more vegetables and other nutritious foods.
If you are fond of wearing make-up, make sure you use the kind that is oil-free or non-comedogenic so that it won’t clog your skin pores.
It is also important to be always hygienic. Changing pillow cases often can help you prevent from having oil from your face collected there so that they won’t return to your face when you use the pillow cases.
